Just Weeks after officially retiring from football, former Wales captain Gareth Bale has announced that he will be participating at the AT&T’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am in Los Angeles, Carolina.
Bale is one of the best footballers to come out of the United Kingdom, and possibly the best player from Wales. Starting his prosperous career at Southampton, he moved to Tottenham Hotspur in 2007, but his success came when he moved to Real Madrid in 2013, adding five Champions League medals to his illustrious trophy cabinet, and was part of the infamous Real Madrid team which won back-to-back Champions Leagues trophies three times in a row and played a part in taking Wales to their first FIFA world cup for the first time since 1958.

In a recent instagram post he wrote, “Delighted to announce I will be playing in the AT&T Pebble Pro-Am at the start of next month! Let’s go.” His dream is finally coming true after his relationship with Real Madrid deteriorated after he was pictured with a banner which wrote,”Wales. Golf. Madrid.” Now his priorities have just recently became, “Golf. Golf. Golf.” We hope for the best upon his International Golf debut.
